I seem to be in the minority but I didn't find this all that interesting. The art was good, sound syncing was good and all that... good stuff (polish! that's the word. lots of polish, and great quality), but it never really caught my attention.
Didn't find it interesting or even funny. Just technically well-done.
Oh holy crap that was amazing.
I absolutely love how you had me (us, as in most watchers?) guessing right until the end. So many places he looks like he could have come from (so as not to spoil things).
And... aaaah. Totally amazing. I'm glad that the wait for the next work of one of my favourite authors was most DEFINITELY worth the wait.
Please never stop <3
A Huge Fan
This story is amazing - and people who call it cliche really don't know what they're talking about 3: It's like they're using that word without thinking about it.
There is no good triumphs over evil here; there is no 'everything is perfect in the end' thing going on here. Hell, the story deals with relationships between two people who society has decided can't have a relationship -- which isn't terribly common. Doki and Nabi don't stop the prejudice against them, they simply learn to live through it. This is no common 'love triumphs over all' either. This is learning how to deal with the crap life throws at you, and not letting it get in the way of the things you love.
Obviously, there's the beautiful animation, sound, and overall quality and polish of the production helping There She Is!! along, but the story is a really good one too :) -- It touches on topics that aren't seen enough these days.
This is a very pretty game.
That's about all it has going for it.
Zombie enemies? Hold the attack button and stand still.
Flying enemies? Line yourself up with one, hold the attack button, and stand still.
And then, on top of it all, a boring level up mechanic.
Oh and then throw some uninspired platforming bits in.
This is a very pretty game that is also boring and uncreative. There's a nice story and good animation; maybe that's what they should have made instead of a game.
Then again, maybe not. From the looks of things, people like shallow gaming experiences. Or maybe it suddenly gets better after the first area -- but I wouldn't count on it.
I guess all there is left for me is 'People think this is a USELESS review'.
More like an unpolished Star Guard
I didn't play through this very far, but it really is just a bad ripoff of Star Guard. A terrible one.
The controls feel bad, pointless collectibles are all over the place, enemy and level design is less interesting and less clever and pretty much awful in many places, and the graphics are worse. There is also a wall-jumping ability that is never used for anything interesting, and the environment in Star Guard was much more... uh, well, interesting.
If you have a search engine and half a brain, don't bother playing this game. There's a better one you'd be better off playing instead, somewhere out there ON THE INTERNET. It will welcome you with open arms.
Looked and sounded amazing.
Played very well, too (responsive, smooth, great animations), but...
well, a walkthrough for this is about as necessary as the walkthrough for You Have to Burn the Rope.
I've never been a massive fan of this kind of game anyway - I'd love to see a movie in this style.
My rating is biased but that's okay!
Aw, this is awesome. I like the way his feet look.
Thanks for making and sharing this with me!
Very charming :3
it's always cool to see other styles' takes of this guy ^^
